the answers are out there in the drowning deep

So I finally got to watch the series finale of The Sopranos.

I haven't watched the show regularly since about season 3 or 4 - I tried to get back into back in September, and just couldn't do it. Even so, I was able to get the gist of what was going on, and, well, there's an hour of my life I'll never get back.

I feel like it was all set-up and no payoff. I mean, I don't mind that Tony didn't die, and I'm certainly glad that Carmela didn't, but I feel like it was set up to have that kind of tension ratcheted up, and then ... nothing.

On the other hand, I did find AJ's car going on fire - and his response - kind of awesomely hilarious. Of course, I am of a mind that there can never be enough shit set on fire on my TV, so...

In other news, I was scanning the referral stats for my site, and apparently if you google Ocean's 11 fanfic, I come up pretty close to the top. Woo! I haven't seen O13 yet, but everything I've heard seems to point to people wanting to write fic, and I encourage that strongly. Especially if it's Danny/Rusty fic. *nod* I may try to go see it this week, though I am also tentatively scheduled to see "Knocked Up" with R. on Wednesday.

Still, the main search string for my site continues to be "Harry Potter sex stories." How very banal.

In other, other news, I think I may have to visit the Museum of Natural History this summer, for the Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids exhibit. Possibly there would be fic as a result.

Any other NYC fans interested in making an outing of it?
