Sesame Crusted Tofu

The tofu was pressed for about an hour then coated in black and white sesame seeds along with corn starch and sea salt. I lightly fried the tofu in canola oil. I made a reduction sauce with soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, natural sugar, shiracha pepper sauce and a little corn starch at the last minute to really thicken it up. I steamed some broccoli, cabbage and snow peas in our steamer for a few minutes. The veggies and tofu were placed in a bowl and covered in the sauce and topped with green onions. Amazing!
