Muse wanted: Alan Turing
Community: SWS/SSWS, open to private threading
Fandom: Aliens saga, and -- real life, I suppose. Though Imitation Game would obviously be a big influence
Canon: Did David travel back in time? Did Alan travel forward in time (er, more -- rapidly than one normally does, obviously)? Did they freeze Alan before/after his death and Peter Weyland woke him up years later for reasons? I honestly don't mind any way you want to make it work, I just need them to be friends.
After having seen Imitation Game, and seeing Alan's dedication to and relationship with his Christopher, I very suddenly had a lot of feelings about androids and decided that something ought to be done about it. I think David would be fascinated to learn about his roots, and I know Alan would love to meet David.
Whether it develops into something romantic or not I'm completely open (though I am absolutely down for robot/human relationships, I find them fascinating), let's just play with it and see where it goes.
