countless lovers under cover of the street;
so, i was supposed to do a documented day yesterday, but to me, it was pretty boring. (well with the exception of seeing the Sons of Korah play at Subi). i was going to post something soon, then tonight happened. well, not that something big happened, it was just a small gathering at David & Xiumin's place, steamboat dinner along with watching NDP live online. it was quite amusing, given that majority of us who were there were Malaysians. lol, but it was nice to watch & laugh at stuff. they had this video segment of singaporeans overseas, all over the world were offering their wishes. & there was one guy in Perth!! haha. we've never seen him before though. lol. i quite liked that this year's song is sung by Electrico. (: & though we didnt recognise a lot of the people on stage, it was amusing. haha.
so it kind of got me thinking of
family! ♥ & friends! (:
sammy & snowy! ♥ & supper at Chomp Chomp! (esp the tau huay & stingray!!)
starbucks!!, late airport escapades, teh peng!!, my fave hokkien mee!, grandma's place & fridays out with mom (:
mos burger!!, listening to yen play guitar everyday & my favourite cake! (:
there's more, but thats all i have photos for right now. its quite a lot to miss, the food & lifestyle i can live without, but as for the people, thats definitely one of the hardest parts. one of the things we always talk about is how our lives here is so different from our lives back home. its funny how you'd think your life would sort of change to how things are now, but like i experienced last year, it just simply reverts back to life in singapore.
anyway, i'm kind of facing 2 big decisions in my life right now. both would influence what my future would be, though one would be more immediate than the other. & i have to make up my mind in 2 days. sigh, i wish there was a guide for things like this.
other than that, uni life has kicked in full swing. life has been speeding past, there's hardly anytime to realize that i'm procrastinating. group work is taking its toll on me, but i'm hoping & praying for patience & understanding. more site visits are coming up, which should be fun! i kind of miss my grape & wine class, but Food Safety classes have been good so far, ending the week off with sort of a bang. (: yeah, dirty food & haccp plans are my thing. haha. sadly, i fallen sick. its a terrible cough. ): headaches are slowly accompanying it, which is bad. i hope it doesnt worsen. ):
well, seems like it was a pretty warm winter this year. i long for cold days, but its been hot in the afternoons. nothing beats walking to school in the freezing cold in the morning for an 8am class. (: haha. well, thats it for now. enjoy the public hols that you might have & all the best for the start of a new semester at uni. & take care people!
