Yaaay, tax season's over!

Almost... the last bits of mail will be coming in early next week, and then we get to make all the ugly phone calls to tell people the truth. You had 16 months to get your 2006 contributions in, and you couldn't manage it in time?

Oh, boo-hoo. :p

In programming land, I've still got a nice, solid 90-something-or-other-percent. I totally rocked on the first test (98% WOO!), and I've got my second program done about a week in advance (more WOO!). The program is a payroll report with a two-level control break (basically tests two pieces of info, and makes decisions for output, calculations, etc. from there).

Unfortunately, the amount of work going into the class and regular job leaves almost no time for anything... I've got a couple of little drawings done, and it's showed me that I've been away from "real" drawing (pencils and paper type) for waaaay too long. I've been using photoshop the majority of the last couple of years doing TTG and a little doodling (also digital).

I haven't touched my physcial sketch book in months.

I've discovered that I hardly have the endurance to make it through a small, detailed drawing anymore :(

*flexes art muscles* But it's coming back... kind of like long-term recovery from a sport injury. It looks not-so-great. Once class is done and life resumes somewhat normal activity, I'll be carving out some more time for the real art. >_>;
