I'm having an incredibly strong nostalgic longing for Negril, the little Jamaican village where we got married, and where we've had some wonderful vacations.

Bridgetown Grill when I managed it used to do a great jerk. There's also the Pattie Stop on Edgewood that has a grocery attached. Great food and I think you'll find the sauce there.

Bridgetown is ok, it's definitely not bad. There's a new Jamaican place called One Love Diner that just opened on N. Decatur Road and Church that's pretty good. I'll definitely check out the Pattie Stop, but it won't be THE sauce :-) For that, one has to go direct to Lydie at Three Dives.... that stuff is pure gold, man. Spicy but flavorful - I've never had sauce like it anywhere else.

Norm and I have actually discussed whether to make our travel arrangements or not. We'd like to use up some of our many Skymiles, but we are concerned that if you get pregnant within the next 6 months all bets are off!

Hrm. Yeah, I hate to have it so up in the air, but it all depends on my damn ovaries :-) But at least if you use Skymiles you can always cancel the tickets and get the Skymiles back! It looks like I'll have a client program on our actual anniversary, though, so we may look at going the weekend before or the weekend after.
