Dinner, Kray, and Street Design
Dinner with Justin on Thursday evening at Bryant Lake Bowl. Met his girlfriend Liz and her family (half Minneapolitan). Liz is quite lovely. Somewhat flighty and quick to judge, but she seems a very good balance to our broody friend. I was overjoyed to find that Justin's thinking is so closely parralel to mine. he has started his masters at the Pratt Institute in NYC. He is studying Urban Planning. Pratt also has a Historic Preservation program! Oh Joy!!!! Pratt, according to Justin, is very concerned about the development of space and architecture in terms of its function in building, enhancing, or preserving community, smart development, and preservation and renewal. He's been working on a project for a small town in NJ which is trying revitalize its downtown corridor.
