Killing time before a meeting
Well, I've got a meeting at 3:30 and my 2:00 meeting finished up early, so I'm here at HQ killing a bit of time. So why not update good old LJ? Not that I have a lot to update since yesterday. But I'll make a stab at it. Let's see, I'm pretty much done with all my Christmas shopping. Go me! I really need to start my Christmas cards tonight. Or at least for the out of state folks that I might not see when I'm home or won't see in general for the holiday. And I definitely need to send cards to people who have sent me one. Bad form in not returning a card and all that.
It looks like it's going to be nice and cold when I'm home. Sigh. Guess I need to pack some wool sweaters and lots of layers. As long as it doesn't sleet or have ice, then I'm ok. It would be nice to see a little snow. Notice I said a little snow. I'd like to see the kind of snow that falls, looks pretty and melts after a day or two. It would be even nicer to have snow and to be able to cuddle with the Boy, but no, he's going home to PA for Christmas.
Admittedly, I do have the house all decorated for Christmas. I put a tree up and lights outside and garland on my banister. Go me! I do feel all Christmasy when I see the lights. However, I do have a whole lot of stuff to get ready before I go home. I need to decide what I'm packing and then do the laundry that I'm planning on bringing home.
Hmmm, I think I am running out of things to talk about. Ok, time to send this.
