More fun in Boulder
So far, everything has been going good. Found a Target and bought some provisions for the room and a new suitcase since mine is biting the dust. I think that's what too much traveling does to a poor suitcase.
Mom got in safely and we headed over to Pete and Kristin's place. The GPS came in very handy. They are rather nifty things and if I was traveling more, I would be highly tempted to get one. However, I don't think I can justify the expense. We did have a wee bit of trouble finding the specific apartment. But once we got there all was good. It's a very nice and cozy apartment. It makes me feel bad that I haven't really decorated my place yet. Pete's friend from grade school came over and we spent a good few hours having one of our ususal talks about everything under the sun and lots of playing with kitties time too.
Back to the hotel to find that King Kong is in the room above me. This person (I'm guessing a man) paced back and forth til after 1:00 am. And walked very heavily too. This has got to stop. I won't be getting any sleep. Have some courtesy for your fellow guests.
Today Mom and I are off to explore Modern Bungalow, a store that we've lusted over their website for a good few months. Then lunch and rehearsal and decorating the church hall and rehearsal dinner. So a fun-filled day is in store.
Best of all, I called our Tech Support and found out what was going on with my laptop and now I'm connected. Whoo Hoo!
