Almost done with class...
And not a moment too soon. No, that isn't true. I sort of do miss being
in the classroom. But having 2 classes in a day can be a bit draining.
Not to mention with my throat bothering me, it is more than a bit
draining. However, I am going to the ENT today to see what the deal is
with my throat and if my tonsil is really supposed to look like it is
right now. It's funny how the swelling has gone down since I made the
appointment last week. Isn't that how it always goes? But I'm sure
it's not a good thing that it's been that way for months now. For all I
know, that's why I've been having that random pain in my upper jaw.
Let's see. Turns out that I left my debit card in the ATM machine here
at work and they gave me a call today about it. Of course, after I
called and reported it lost or stolen. Oh well. Better safe than sorry
I say. However, once I get the new one I can have the old one
reactivated. It's just annoying that I won't have a card for my trip
this weekend and will have to go out and get money from the bank. I
think my savings account will be funding this trip. Or at least some of
it. I am looking forward to it. But am a bit bummed that the guys that
Thom was trying to find to be buddies for me aren't coming to the
wedding, so I will mostly be on my own. But I can handle that. It
should be a fun time...
Tried a new restaurant last night. There's a Chinese restaurant near
the office that I have passed every day on my way home from work and
never stopped in because it looked like a cheap Americanized restaurant.
However, it got a good review in the paper so I decided to try it and
it was really good. I had a pork and tofu dish that was tasty and next
time I will go with the spicy instead of the medium. Since it could
have been spicer for me. But there were a lot of dishes that I want to
try and it's on the way home, so why not?
Darts last night was ok. I did finally regain my 301 form and won my
match but in only 19 darts so that is really a huge improvement for me.
Unfortunately, we got smeared in doubles cricket and lost in 801. But
we did win the match overall and that's good, but we really needed to
get as many points as we could to try and get into the tournament.
I wound up asking Anthony about what Thom said that he told him about
John. Anthony looked blank and said that he didn't know or remember
what Thom was talking about. So who knows what is going on. I did ask
Anthony that if there were anything about John that I needed to know for
him to tell me. So for now, I'm just going to ignore the situation and
move on.
Ok, time to work on a few more thing before heading out to the
doctors.
