Sigh, I just love stress
At least I think it's stress that is giving me this headache. Though I
am leaning towards it being caused by the lights in the room where I've
been teaching as well as the perfume that one participant was wearing.
Man, I can still smell it. Ugh! I'm pretty sensitive to certain smells
and this is just killing me. However, the bright spot is that I'm done
teaching for the day and can finally catch up on some other things that
I need to take care of. Not to mention that I don't have class
scheduled for tomorrow so I can wear jeans and relax. However, I can't
relax too much since I have added a class on Monday. So I will have to
update acct. numbers and make up exercises for that class as well as all
of the classes next week. But it's all good since next Friday I will be
in New Orleans for Thom and Carolyn's wedding.
The wedding will be kind of strange since all of my friends will be
there with their significant others and I will be by myself since John
has a mid-term to study for. And it will be strange considering my and
Thom's history. That if things had fallen out differently, it could have
possibly been me instead of Carolyn. Though I don't really think it
would have worked out so no big thing. The long-range weather forecast
for next weekend promises to be nice and warm. So I am definitely
looking forward to breaking out the summer clothes. I'm looking forward
even more to spending time in New Orleans without my mother and being in
a hotel in the French Quarter. So I will be able to do some shopping
for family and friends and even visit all of the voodoo type shops that
I couldn't visit the last time I was there.
I wish that the weather would be as nice this weekend. Saturday is
supposed to be warm, but with a chance of thunderstorms and with how the
weather luck has been going this year with Faire, I'm not counting on it
not to rain. Sunday is supposed to be in the 60s, but as long as it
doesn't rain, that shouldn't be too bad. Hmmm, nothing else too
exciting to report, time to get back to work.
