Murray's Random Thoughts #20
1. I feel bad that Rachael got evicted from Big Brother. Beautiful people shouldn't be so shabbily treated.
2. I love the new Dr Who. I love it more than I was ever expecting. Matt Smith was instantly the Doctor for me - despite Laura insisting on calling him "Scream mask" - and Amy and he have excellent chemistry. To boot, I've not disliked an episode yet.
3. They've been calling us the worst team to make it to the World Cup and one of our team members had to take time off work to play - he's a banker. But we still managed to draw with Slovenia and the draw one-all against World Champions Italy. Suddenly I'm a football fan.
4. I can't believe Hugo is going on Wednesday - Portugal vs. Brazil.
5. I read a novel called Fatherland which details the rise of Hitler's Third Reich after they won the war. Interesting. Any alternative history recommendations?
