hey party peoples. guess what i did this weekend? i went to wild! i saw the sugar hill gang! u know, the guys who sing "rappers delight" and "apache"... it was pretty ballin. actually, it was really wierd to see them on stage, cuz they're like 45 now, but they still tried to bring the same energy that im sure they had back in the 80's. they were still really good, and they played a few medleys (one was all their favorite songs strung together, more or less, one was 90's rap songs that had sampled their beats, etc). they were cool. they sang the real slim shady at one point in there. pretty awesome.
for some reason they were the opening act... and after that i didnt really pay attention to the bands, due to the presence of 20 or so inflatable couches near the back of the crowd. me and zach hijacked one and proceeded to fall backwards every few minutes for the rest of the show (inflatable couches != stable). people look really wierd upside down. from what i could hear though, dj unk and lupe fiasco were pretty uninspiring rap acts who didn't let you bring in cameras because they like men.
other than that, not much is goin on. i like james's new fb pic. it reminds me of that one time at night of joy when i woke up next to him, his arm and leg draped over my cool skin. i was the beans in a beautiful burrito of manlove.
