I finally found somewhere that sells
Pocky! It took quite a bit of searching too, seeing as I checked 7-11s from here to Washington, DC plus Wawa stores here in Jersey and three different types of supermarkets (Safeway, ShopRite, and Giant) trying in vain to find it. I ultimately found it at Wegmans, where you can apparently find anything (but if you're looking for a Pocky flavor other than strawberry and chocolate, or Pretz that doesn't taste like tomatoes, then you're out of luck). I saw the Japanese section when
udoswald and I were headed toward the produce section, and I just had a feeling that I would find it. I bought two packages, and it hasn't disappointed. My only previous experience with Pocky (thanks Cathryn) was somewhat questionable due to the fact that the chocolate melted in the mail and I was left with a huge glob of chocolate with some biscuit sticks poking out of the bottom. It was quite good, but I still wondered whether it tasted any different in its regular state. It's good to know that it tastes quite the same not having been melted.
