That was strange. I definitely didn't see it coming when Michael shot Ana Lucia, or even when he shot Libby (Hurley's gonna be bummed). I think that I know why Michael shot Ana Lucia (to make it look like Henry did it), and why he shot Libby (I think that it was a combination of being startled and so that there would be no witnesses), but it's still a dark road to be taking Michael down. The spoiler for next week looks like he'll be pinning this on Henry and pushing for an assault on the Others, and to put himself in a position of power within the group. I heard somebody say in a critique of the show that there wasn't any tension left, that all anybody ever did was go about their lives, but this episode certainly seems to be setting up a return to the good old-fashioned turmoil that marked the show's first season.
