Last weekend I bought a great new album, the soundtrack to Garden State. I've just gotten around to listening to it, and it has far exceeded my expectations. I bought the thing because it was cheap (11 bucks at Olsson's) and I figured it would be passable. My favorite song on there is "Lebanese Blonde" by Thievery Corporation, which is probably one of my favorite songs right now. It's an interesting combination of sounds, from the techno of TC to an old song by Simon and Garfunkel ("The Only Living Boy in New York"). Hopefully one of these days I'll actually get to see the movie, I doubt that it's out on DVD yet but once it is I'll have to schedule a trip home to take advantage of my family's DVD player (I don't even have a VCR where I live) to check it out.
Oh, and I got a couple of new icons. They're my first from the show "Lost," which I am seriously addicted to. That is all.
