Townsville, Rellies, and the whole Shabang

So ya, I'm in the tropics of Australia. It's about 26C during the day, with blue skies and bluer water. When I left Melbourne, it was 6C and raining. Big change.

It's nice up here. There's Coconuts and Bananas and Pineapples growing in the back garden, and Mangoes in about 6 months time when it's really hot. There's beaches and palm trees and things like that. Lots of backpackers here too. Townsville is one of the places near the Great Barrier Reef, so there's lots of fishies!

I is staying with my rellies. I can do anything i really want, so long as i let them know. It's incredibly relaxing. No plans, no deadlines, nothing. I'm fixing my aunt and uncles laptop for them, and setting up the wireless internet for them, and other than walking the dog occasionally, they don't expect anything off me. And my psoriasis has almost disappeared because there's nothing stressing me out, and i'm in bed and asleep by 11.30pm, and usually up by 9am. That's a minor miracle in itself. And my Bronchitis, with the weather up here, has almost gone! Wahoooooo!

I have access to my aunts car up here, but i prefer to walk. If i want a beer, I can't drive (Licence restrictions) anyway. Plus, if anyone else needs the car, it's easier. It takes about an hour for me to walk along the beach into town, and watch the hot guys running down The Strand (as they call it), provided i don't stop for Icecream.

I shall take peekatures!
