Totally forgot to post to LJ. HI GUYS. I'M IN AMERICA. And yes.
I arrived on Christmas, but it was late by the time I got to Arizona so I just...slept. And yesterday, I just forgot. 8D HA HA HA. But I'm here, safe and sound.
Opened and gave presents on the 26th, and other than the usual holiday/birthday money that relatives give which is extremely appreciated since I don't really change money over when I come to America, I came out pretty well this Christmas. Okay, really well.
A personal cookie jar and covered mug set shaped like penguins
A penguin bathset
Ear cuffs (my ears aren't pierced)
A pair of waterproof boots *A*
A feather/rose headpiece and fishnet gloves 8D; Those'll be fun to play with
And the best of the gifts?
A handmade Okita and Saizou figurine set from tiassa! OH GOD I MUST UPLOAD PICTURES LATER. ;A; THEY ARE SO CUTE.

AND a PS3.

But no, my parents really got me one for Christmas/birthday joint and HOT DAMN. I have no idea how I'm getting it back to Japan, but I WILL PERSEVERE. That and since games aren't region-coded yet? UFUFUFUFUFU COME TO ME, VIDEO GAMES.
So yeah, as much as I was worried about the travel, sleep deprivation bore me through it all. 8D YAY. And now that I'm here, I'm having a great time. |3
Today went to see the Sherlock Holmes with my sister-in-law and brother. And yeah, while it's different from the original characters, I liked them in their own right. The story was pretty interesting and I rather liked the costuming and setwork. All in all, I'd buy/rent it to see it again and to own it. It seems like a fun movie to watch when you're with friends or doing something.
Tomorrow we're going to go see Avatar. 8D And maybe video game/movie shop since I want District 9 like burning. And a few other movies that are far cheaper here than in Japan.
