Wanted to do this last night after watching the cn-subbed ver, but the Tops totally distracted me like they've always done and and and I had a six-page financial report to submit today. And i did. \:D/
Anywayyyyy, i need some space to flail about one of my all-time favorite drama characters.

And then i just went T____________T.
I was initially a little miffed by someone's comment on the comms, about the SP having no concrete plot at all.
But.. it's true LOLOLOL i thought everyone was exaggerating but this SP is really made up of 90% flashbacks!! DDDDDDD:
But yes, 90% flashbacks still managed to make me T_T all over again. Sigh it's just so draining to watch 1LoT, can.
And then there's Asou-kun emo-ing throughout, which i'm just.. totally defenseless against.
Kinda thought Ryo wasn't very convincing as a doctor, not sure why LOL but it could be just me~
His crying scenes here were fab though, esp in the first one (in cap above). So subtle but so good~~~ ;___; I found the last part of him calling Aya's number kinda lame but i figured they were trying to link the story back to the "long to hear her voice" part.
But Ryo fan or not, i've always adored Asou-kun as a drama character. Fictitious, but yet so brilliantly drawn up, yes? ♥

I think it was in the little things he did for Aya..
Like the way he 'ordered' her to help him to clean the lab aparatus
The way he secretly stared at Aya as she was playing with the dog in the park
The way he told a crying Aya 'That was mean, dumping him through the phone. Kawamoto-sempai must be crying right now.'
The way he stood up in class and bitched about all the hypocrites
And then the way he fell on his knees on the bridge, bawling, confessing to Aya that he was just like them - useless to her.
Asou was really perfect to me, with his slight attitude problem and all~♥ He appeared cold, but he cared so much about Aya. He always tried to give to his best what Aya needed most - to be treated like a normal, healthy girl.
One of my first thoughts of Asou as a character was that such a man surely fails to exist in real life. It made me really sad when watching the drama to think of the real Aya having no Asou to be there for her.
..Too unreal? But maybe that's precisely one of the reasons why i adore him so much.
Although Asou was only a supporting character, and the AsouXAya arc was not even a big one in the drama, i'm still very, very glad Ryo got to play him. ♥
I don't think i'm being biased when i say he was really natural as Asou. It might be because Ryo himself has some things in common with Asou, but yup whatever it is, Ryo'd played Asou well. *nods* TAIHEN NE RYO-CHAN, NEED TO CRY SO MUCH.
And i'm NOT crazy for owning Asou's confession in an mp3 and bringing it everywhere i go on my iPod. I'm nottt. /spaz

FIRSTLY, the camerawork in this version is MUCH, MUCH more impressive. *___* Kinda Heat-Up!ish.....
I think it managed to capture Jin at his hottest, SERIOUSLY~
Jin was really giving his all here, and can i say something? He really belongs on stage, under the limelight. T___T This guy's charisma is really A+++++++++++++.
And i'm not sure if this is normal but my heart was beating really fast when watching the JinXKoki exchange LOL Even when i already knew she's Koki. D: Two of them were really ASHFL;DJHLDLJFHKLF together. /dies
