I'm ACTING!
I've learned something this week. I am no actress.
I thought I was. I make it a hobby to redo scenes from my favorite TV Shows and correct what I think they did "wrong". I thought I was marvelous! A genius! I figured, If I ever made it on TV, I'd win a dozen different awards. How was I to know that I sound like a pile of gravel being aerated in a blender.
It took actually listening to myself "act" to realize how bad I am. I'm stilted, my inflections are in all the wrong places and I just can't seem to get the moods right.
I'm lucky that I had fun, or else this would've been a MUCH more painful experience. Well, for better or for worse, I recorded my audition and I'm about to send it to JesuOtaku's box. I mean, why shouldn't I?
It wouldn't be fair if I had to suffer alone.
