Promotion
Well guys, I suppose it is all official now and I can announce it for those of you that hadn't already heard. I have just secured a huge promotion at work that almost doubled my salary. Hooray! Also, Laura qualified for a really selective accelerated Nursing program in Mobile. Hooray!
Sadly these two things do not go together all that well. My job is in Montgomery, and her school is in Mobile. So here, in our third year of marriage, we have decided that the best thing would be for her to go away to school in Mobile and move quickly through her second BA and that should set us up to be making quite a load of money in one years time. So as of the end of July, she will head down south while I stay here to work, visiting on weekends of course. Wish us luck, because what we are doing won't be easy, but we think it is the best thing to do with the options we have.
