She stole her way into a foreign home, reshaped and rearranged herself into something that could blend in with the humans. There were guardians, too, faerie creatures and beings that planned her future, planned her every move and every breath for their own benefit.
And when that girl found her power, felt her own magic pulsing in her fingertips and whispering what would you like, what you like to bend to your will and change for yourself, she knew that she would never let go.
