note to self if you ever want to lucid dream simply read about harry potter universe for 3 hours and then have a mid day nap where you sleep on both your arms and it is impossible to type this right now.
I just had not only my first lucid dream but also my first dream where I woke up from a dream and was still in a dream. It was pretty wild. Nothing eventful happened mostly because when I realized I was in a dream I was in my room and couldn't think of anything to do. I could hear myself breathing outside of my dream, but every time I "woke up" I knew I was dreaming because it was snowing outside. It was pretty strange to keep slipping in and out of lucid and regular dreaming while you keep thinking you are waking up. Another reason I knew I was dreaming at least 3 times was because my computer was in a different spot in my room, one that made it impossible to use practically. Also, for some reason I never caught this: I was living in an old bowling alley and my blankets were on seats.
The first time I realized I was dreaming I tried to fly and almost did it. before that though I tried to jump over a sofa in a cool way and failed and thought I was NOT dreaming because I knew I would fail and I felt myself push against the sofa. I think the main thing about dreaming is that you can't really do anything unless you believe you can do everything.
Unfortunately, that was fucking crazy and I was like 10 dreams deep and I think I did my entire life's worth of lucid dreaming.
Waking up from the last dream was like pulling myself out of thick air or something and if I didn't do that I would probably still be stuck in a dream world where I just keep waking up from dreams.
