According to the Western Church, today is Good Friday.  I doubt there's many people in Europe and the Americas who don't know that Good Friday is the observation of the anniversary of Jesus' crucifixion.

Tipherah is spelled Tau, Pe, Aleph, Resh, Tau. Tau is the Seal of Creation. Pe is the Oral Torah. Aleph is the first emanation, and the Beginning. Resh is the Head and the Beginning. Now we come to the Sword or Battle-Axe.  He only mentions the Battle-Axe in the context of the list, but the Sword is all over Cochrane's letters.  I think which it is depends on the context.  Probably the Battle-Axe was older, replaced by the Sword, but I could be wrong.  I think the symbolism will be consistent regardless of which is used ( Read more... )

The next symbol is the twelve-rayed Sun.  I find it interesting that Cochrane lists the Sun for the masculine, but not the moon for the feminine.  Both are shown on the Menhir.  On the Instruments of the Passion that I posted, the sun is not present, unless the halo behind the bust on top of the Pillar (which the identify as Veronica's Veil, oddly ( Read more... )
