The focus on the abstract and the symbolic in many modern traditions is a bit odd in my opinion. Not that the abstract and symbolic don't have a place or value, of course. In 1734, we have Tettens, the Wind King of the North, which is Air.  We have Lucet, the Wind King of the East, which is Fire.  Tettens and Lucet are twins, the Divine Twins (as in Feri) of 1734.  I've talked about these Divine Twins before.  East is the direction of Fire in 1734, but in Feri and Wicca, and I believe Ceremonial Magic, East is Air.   ( Read more... )
