As Uncle Willy said in "The Philadelphia Story," these are the days that the pages of history tell us are better spent lying in bed.
I'm definitely not well, but I'm also not completely incapacitated. I'm hoping to prevent that eventuality through sleep. Immune system, why is it that you choose to fight disease with excess mucous production, coughing, and sneezing, since all of those things interfere with the #1 disease fighter, getting loads of sleep? You vex me so.
If I feel less muzzle-headed later, I might try to write. I'm also about halfway through Maugham's "Of Human Bondage," and it's really wonderful. Here's hoping my brain decides it can accept new information soon. That's the most annoying part about being sick- the utter inability to accomplish mental tasks. Yep. Probably good that I'm not at work today.
Love to all,
Lib
