It has been 157 weeks since I looked at this - holy cow!! So, everything looks different! What does this mean? Most of you are younger than I am so I feel a certain obligation to say only things that are 'ok' to say under these circumstances!

If you lived as a child in the 60s or the 70s, it's hard to believe we have lived as long as we have. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Been a while since I've written anything in lj, not surprising really. Don't feel comfortable writing what I think - bit of distance between what I think and what I read in other lj. Much of what I read scares the hell out of me, guess that's why I don't visit too often.

Do kids find it easier to talk on a forum of this kind with their peers rather than having a one on one conversation with their parents about subjects that cause them to feel uncomfortable. Given that I think most will say 'to their peers', would it be easier to talk to parents via live journal about some subjects?

I want a 'great' recipe for vegetable soup!
