Wow, Varamyr is really very creepy. This whole slipping-into-a-person's-skin-taking-over-their-bodies seems... yeah, ew. That's some serious violations rigth there. And for fearsome warrior man slipping into a she-wolf while she's getting it on with the pack leader? Ah Varamyr... you would be happier living right here and now; I do believe we have chat rooms for people with your preferences.

Aw... Tyrion is much less fun now that he's a depressed alcoholic, but he's got my sympathy still. He's still one of my favorite characters. "Where do whores go?" is a good a tag line as any, I suppose. He doesn't even know what he's doing anymore, which is kind of the annoying thing.
He doesn't want to live, but he doesn't quite want to die either. He sort of wants to meet Tysha again, but he seems half-hearted about it... probably because he doesn't want to find out what a gang-rape resulted in. I wonder if he'll ever meet her again. I guess it's possibly that George might bring her out in this bloody medieval Jerry Springer show... XD It's also entirely possible that she killed herself, and wouldn't that be a spike in the coffin for our self-destructive dwarf?
Oh, and Tyrion? You get a little less sympathy because it made such a huge fucking difference to you that she wasn't a whore - a prostitute doesn't enjoy being gang-raped either. It is known, you dim-witted, shit-for-brains, self-righteous dick.

What does a dragon know of politics? Not much, as it turns out. Still, she's doing much better than any other teenage girl I've known. XD I like that she's not compromising her No Slavery standpoint, and I like it even more that the political ramifications are suitably overwhelming for her. She's liberating honey from a hornet's nest (it's not a perfect allegory, but apparently some hornets make honey.).
And oooooh BAD DRAGON! Don't eat the kids! XD Maybe the dragon mama should have thought of that before feeding her dragons the occasional human. Wonder how she'll deal with that...

Seems like everybody's a warg nowadays. At least that's how I interpret the dreams. If all the Stark children turn out to be wargs (those left, that is) I can't wait for Sansa to make the discovery. But maybe she won't find out without Lady?
Random thought: I love Dolorous Edd. :)
Also, I really like Melisandre's last words in that chapter: "Then you know nothing, Jon Snow." By no means unexpected or even original, but it still fits so well. Is it just me, or have George Martin gotten much better at ending chapters in suitably gooese-bumpy manner?

Oh ew! Bran is much, MUCH less cute now that he's a cannibal who from time to time enjoys mind-raping his mentally challenged friend. And sees absolutely nothing wrong with it. I wonder how long it will take before he tries to "borrow" Jojo's body or Meera's. Don't like this developement at all, but at least it's interesting to read about. Now I'm horrified instead of bored.
Also, I can't wait to find out more about Coldhands. A dead ranger. Does anybody else think we've finally found Benjen Stark..? I for one is excited about the prospect, and why he didn't turn out as all the other dead people: a puppet to The Others.
