So I finally got my Lost toys!  And I'm so happy with them!  Currently, the Man In Black is hanging in my closet and looking creepy, and Jacobfer is watching a documentary-thing on gateways to Hell.

Anyway, I promised people pictures, so here are pictures!

Yes! Buy an official Marksha action figure! Then Jacob and the MIB can have tea parties with the Cabbage Patchesters! The attention to detail is actually quite startling. There's stubble and subtle lines on his forehead and a part in his hair and pretty blue eyes with legit pupils. The only thing he's missing is the tattoo.

I got the throw at tvmerch.org. They've got a bunch of Supernatural stuff including Mary's bracelet, which I've been eying. Some of it's a little pricey, though. If I remember right, the throw was around $50-60, so I had to wait for Christmas. But, boy, is it pretty. And warm. And pretty :)

I think fandom tattoos, if subtle, can be really awesome. For example, I was at a water park last weekend and saw a woman with a tri-quatra (spelling?) on her shoulder. Written inside it were the letter P and the number 3, instantly letting me know that she was a Charmed fan without alerting non-geeks to that fact. Also, I got a compliment from hot guys on the tattoo in the same weekend, so it was a good, geeky vacation.

The attention to detail is AWESOME! I'm already mad at my CPK because he doesn't have a mole or sideburns or those adorable lines on his forehead. His nose is pretty close from the side though... it has that slope :P I should photograph him from the side to illustrate, lol.

I think I've been to tvmerch.org before and wanted tons of stuff :P They are pretty expensive though, but it looks like the stuff is really good quality though... I might have to treat myself at some point :)

I think it's triquetra... maybe. I can't remember, but I know what you mean. It's a common Wiccan symbol, and also Celtic. It sounds like it'd make a neat tattoo.

Also? Bonus that hot guys complimented you on your tattoo... that's never a bad thing! I don't even think Michigan MAKES hot guys anymore. Everyone around here makes me want to gag :P

I checked TVmerch last night and couldn't find the blanket. Creation might have it, or it might be on ebay still. *shrugs* I think I got it last Christmas.

My friend wanted one because she was a big Charmed fan back in the day (to the point that we regularly argued about the correct pronunciation of "wendigo").

I think not having hot guys around is just a midwest thing. It's so hard to find any *sigh*

Maybe it was a limited time thing or something? I know I could have a throw made custom, which would probably be around the same price... I'd like to have a Marksha/Lucifer one :P That'd be epic. I'd never come out from underneath the blanket. I wonder if the site I used before does throws. I already have a Lucifer mouse pad. It's just of my wallpaper, but still. I need to make my own graphic and use it though because I felt kind of guilty using someone else's even though I'm not obviously going to sell it anyway. But still. Luci mousepad. EPIC.

LOL! Misha doesn't even know how to spell Wendigo. I remember he spelled it wrong when he was Tweeting live that one time during an episode. I made fun of him :P

So true. I think California ate all the hot guys :/ Just another reason to relocate, lol. I noticed someone said that the guy who works at their computer store in California looks a whole lot like Mark... that's not fair. They're not allowed to have lookalikes AND the real thing! That's just hogging it :/

If you do have a Marksha blanket made, you will need to post pics of it EVERYWHERE. Because it would be awesome!

Well, technically, Mark's not in California right now. He's in Montreal. Point's still the same, though, I guess. It does seem rather unfair.

I'll definitely do that if I have one made. The site I use also does stretch canvases, and I've been SO tempted to have a Marksha one made... I mean come on, something that looks like a painting of Marksha hung on your wall? EPIC! They do a whole bunch of stuff actually. When I need a new purse I'm getting a SPN one printed probably.

Yeah, I know... which is crazy because I think Montreal is closer to me than California. At least I'd hope it is :P My friend lives there and got to go down there to see where they were filming. She didn't catch any of the cast members, but I told her if she meets Mark she needs to tell me what he smells like... because that's one of the things that I need an answer to :P I want to just mail myself to Canada and hang out on set for a while.

Speaking of unofficial Marksha stuff... I totally doodled a mole on the damn doll xD He'll never have sideburns, but he DOES have a mole now.

Then I decided he got tired, so I let him lay down while I took a side picture... the nose is adorable, lol.

It's really sad that I cuddle that thing. Their hair is so soft though! It makes a perfect couch companion, lol.

Your friend is one lucky duck. I'd be hanging on the set all day like a stalker hoping to catch a glimpse of him.

*grins* Creepy Markifer doll gets creepier every day. If I could give him sideburns, I'd do it. Sadly they're supposed to be children and... well, children don't come with sideburns. But thanks to me one of them now comes with devil horn attachments and a mole xD I should be ashamed of myself. But the nose really IS creepy. I'm convinced Mark really is the devil and he created these clone!dolls to carry out his evil plans... years in the future he'll give the command word and they'll all animate and start taking over the world.

...that probably doesn't help your fear of dolls, does it? xD

I know! And she totally told me to come visit too... you have no idea how much I wanted to :P I guess she talked to some guy who was walking down the street they were filming on the previous night and he said he saw Mark wandering around at some point. She didn't get to see anything though. But she DID get a picture of the signs they had posted announcing there was a project being filmed that simply said "Human." Obviously for them, but I think they were trying to be sneaky or something :P

I really can't wait for promo shots for that show. The suspense is killing me!

LOL! Poor Jacofer... he's already guilty and he's done nothing wrong xD If it makes you feel any better, I don't care how petite you are... he's not getting his wee plastic hands around your neck. They're just too small :P

PROMOS NEED TO HAPPEN NOW. Seriously. I mean, those pictures were nice (seriously what is Life doing with them? They need to go in the magazine ASAP :P) but they're not promos. Promos usually wind up hi-res too. Hi-res Marksha will be AMAZING. I think it'll warrant a new banner for me... and possibly a wallpaper for my desktop :P

I'm so tempted to take a picture of him strangling me now. You have no idea. He's mostly been sitting on the wine metaphor bottle lamp my dad made m for the apartment. It was a bottle of something called "7 Deadly Zins," so it fits all too well.

NEED MARKSHA WALLPAPER!!!!!! I'm dying to make a new one, but there just aren't any new pictures!

LOL! Just to spite me and prove me wrong :P Although I still don't think he could strangle you if he tried... MY mini-Marksha can't even do it, and his arm span is a bit more impressive, lol.

OMG 7 DEADLY ZINS! I've wanted those bottles for so long, no joke :P I'm a bit of a bottle freak, so if there are odd shaped ones or ones with cool labels on them I'm all over it. Did your dad say whether or not the wine was any good? I've been meaning to buy some but I have 5 or 6 bottles of half empty wine chilling out in my fridge already. That's not counting the beer and liquor in there. I seriously have next to no food in the fridge. I look like a lush :P

The problem with my computer is that my screen is HUGE... so it's hard to find good enough quality pictures to even USE for a wallpaper. Mine is 1600x900, and next to no one makes that size. I'm lucky to have found one person who does in fandom, lol.

My mom said she didn't like it, but that's just her. Dad didn't say anything about how it tasted. He was too distracted looking for a decent shade.

Oh. Mine's 1280x800. Not 764 (or whatever it is), but 800. Thanks a lot, Dell. I would totally make wallpapers your size, but the image hosting site I use sizes everything down :(

Wow, what image hosting site do you use? I use Photobucket and you can alter whether they size it down or not... I highly recommend them. I have several free accounts I use for different things, lol. That would drive me nuts if something resized all my stuff. And I think my last computer was actually 1280x800 because it was an odd side and it'd clip off just a tiny bit of whatever wallpaper I tried to use :P My current wallpaper is gorgeous (the Lucifer/Castiel one that was posted in the Mark community a while back) but it's been up for a long time. I need to make one so I have something to switch to, lol.

Hmmm... I wonder if she just didn't like the type of wine or something. I drink almost every kind of wine, some I like more than others, so I'll probably try it at some point.

And oh sure... just because someone's articulated and has many joints, they're a criminal :P Poor Jacofer, being made in Mark's image. He can't catch a break, LOL!

I use photobucket, too. How do you do that? I've been trying to figure it out forever.

Jacofer could totally catch a break if he hadn't turned his head to stare at me today. Of course, I could have just moved his head and forgotten, but, still. It was creepy to look up and see him staring in my direction.

I noticed you use .png files most often. I'm sure there was a way I changed it permanently, but sometimes it's a file size issue and not an image size issue. If you use .jpg files instead the image size is MUCH smaller and they shouldn't resize it anyway. I'll keep looking to see if there's still a way to do it otherwise, but that's a major issue with Photobucket. It's the file size. It's also possible to just use a file sharing website if you were trying to give someone larger images if that didn't work... but yeah, .jpg is the way to go. Especially if you don't have much room on your computer :P

LOL! Man, let's hope you just moved his head... that is creepy :P My Markifer is a perfect gentleman. Hasn't tried to strangle me, enjoyed [rec] with me while we I drank some beers, and he sleeps with me every night. I wish that was as alluring as it sounds, but he makes a good cuddle buddy regardless.

ETA: Yep, that's exactly what it is. File size. If you have a free account you can have up to a 1mb file on Photobucket. To make sure you have the max file size selected, once you're logged on and on the page you can upload on, look below the green button and you should see "Tip: Hold down CTRL to select multiple files. (more options)" Click on more options and you can select that. If it's under 1mb it won't resize the image. If it's above that, you'll have to use a .jpg file type which shouldn't get over 1mb, or use another site.
