Cookie. It's good enough for me. I like ginger snaps made with whole wheat flour the best, but I'm not picky ;-)
Caitlin. My baby. My Siggleputz. She's funny & sweet & smart & mischeivous. She made our family whole.
Cancer. My astrological sign. Doesn't mean too much to me...
Camping. Family time, fun. Being in a natural environment... woken up by birds. The smell of fire in my hair. Peace.
Coffee. I don't think that one requires further explanation. It's coffee.
Como Lake. Usually refered to in my journal as 'the duck pond' We go there a lot. It's just a fun, relaxing place to spend an afternoon. My kids need to be outside like they need food & water & air.
Clothesline. I just <3 mine. I like the simplicity of it. I like how it squeaks. It makes the clothes smell good. The sunlight takes stains out. It makes me feel organised, efficient... like I'm decent at keeping house. I like that it saves energy.
Compost. Well, Roland and the compost. When he finds worms in the garden, he takes them to 'The Restaurant' so they can turn our kitchen scraps into dirt. As he drops them in, he says "Don't get a stomach ache!" Taking the compost out is his job. I watch him from the porch & he does it by himself. He's very proud to have such a big kid job to do. i can see it in his foot steps when he goes...
Crochet. I started doing crochet when my anxiety disorder was way out of control. Theres something calming about the repetetive motion. one time, I was on a bus with someone who was counting Hail Marys or whatever on her rosary. I think it's the same thing as that. Medetative or something.
Calendar. Or clandider, as Roland used to say. I seriously would NOT remember a single solitary thing I have to do if I didn't write it down.
