Well... since we have an unexpected day off because of winter storm warnings I guess I could actually update on what's been happening with me of late...
Last weekend was a nice one, mostly quiet on Saturday when I did lots of little chores including getting things ready for my Secret Pal at school and things for the family. Then on Sunday there was fun with my daughter and the pups. christinA and I did a bit of Valentine shopping and then watched a fun movie from Netflix. (name - Kinky Boots) Robert took a quick trip down to the river to check on how things are at the cottage. Things were fine EXCEPT that he was locked out of the cottage. It seems that the locks were frozen.
The pups were cute as ever. They HATE this weather though... the poor little guys have short fur and tender feet. Their nice winter coats are helpful but their feet get hurt by the snow and ice.
Sunday I started to feel really gross again... runny nose, too warm/too cold in flashes... cough worse. DARN IT! Well... I can always hope that this episode will knock out the lingering infection that I have never really gotten over. Today my nose is dripping not unlike a faucet! I'm trying AirBorne as my daughter says it works great. Time will tell.
I think I will bake some cookies today and grade two late sketchbooks... the sketchbooks won't take very long.
I'm off to grab more tissues! I hope that I am feeling lots better by Thursday night to help with the Spaghetti Supper fundraiser!
ohhhh... ps.
Robert finally gave the urologist a call yesterday since we had not heard from them about the tests Robert had done at the hospital over a week ago. The hospital had not even sent over the results yet! However, the nurse called for them and they are now at the doctor's office. She called our home phone and left a message that neither one of us can understand, so I guess we must still wait and see what the heck she means by all the technical language she used. Two tests showed nothing, but the third had some results. That's what we can't understand.
