Job Huntin'
My mom's okay with me dropping that history class with the horrible teacher! :DD So I'm going to withdraw from that and get a job! Brittany and I went to Annapolis Mall today to get applications. The stores were hiring both part time and seasonal left and right! So we got several applications. We were really surprised that GameStop was hiring over there, and that the guy at the counter practically threw the applications at us. XDD The clerks at those stores are always funny. Anyway, so I told BB to finish those applications tonight because-- tomorrow we're going to turn them all in!!! >:D But dude, we're signed up for a group interview at one of the stores next Tuesday at 3:30PM. It's hilarious because we've pretty much only been in there once, and we've never bought anything from there... ever. XD So we have a joke going that they'll ask us how much we shop there, and Brittany'll be like "...EVERY DAY. :D" LOL!!
I have an application to work at Torrid too, since I got some BITCHIN pants from them. But now that I went through this season's selection there... Eh... Nah... Besides, online it said that they want a full time assistant manager or something. AHAHAHAHA. But I figured I'd go ahead and turn it in just in case. A lot of the places have Now Hiring signs, but when you go up to them, they've got "online only" written in smaller fonts. Laaaaaaaaaame. Anyway, I'm pretty confident about this job search. It is the season for seasonal workers after all.
We went into Spencer's because... it's Spencer's, and we always go into Spencer's. As we were walking to the back, there was a lone Knuckles plush just sitting there on the wall on top of some Nintendo stuff. I was like "KNUCKS!!!" and picked him up on the way to the back. After we were done goofing off in there, I bought him. He's a 10" plush for, like, $10. And it's actually, like, American retail quality! As in, it's GOOD QUALITY and is actually from the official manufacturer!! Plus, it's the classic GE Animation one, not the cheap ass newer ones. (Well, tbh, he and Amy's are the only ones that look good from the GE animation ones to me.) It was a real steal on my terms~ :D Oh Knuckles, I <3 you and your dual retardation and common sense. And it's hilarious when you get angry at things that don't make sense. And in the games, I like how you can climb and fly. That's right, Sonic, fuck you and your Engrish. >_<
Anyway, we decided to immediately turn in the applications tomorrow because Dani and Ray's dancey dance group's panel got accepted at AUSA, so they'll be practicing Friday for sure, which means we wont be at Dani's 'til that's done, so we needed to do something else: like return to the mall! :D
