The beginning...
...of the end of the current season of Greys Anatomy is nigh :O(
I worship at the altar of Calliope & Arizona. We all know what happened in last weeks episode. I liked the way the last scene was handled. The acting chops on these gals ...so brilliantly done. Every second we were right there in the moment...though when Callie said she didn’t want Arizona to change and the ‘Come here..’ from Arizona *sigh* my fangirl heart broke.
Obviously I’d rather they were together, but we desperately needed a shift in the story to create a little drama - it is after all, a TV show. It was heart-breaking yet beautiful to watch, and also infinitely adorable. The love between these two was loud and clear. They love each other completely, and it looked to me like the kind of love that doesn’t go away. This fact alone, and the fact that it was so ‘grown up’ compared to most break-up's on tv, made it less sad...if that makes sense. It could’ve been much much worse i.e. so final, with no hope in the future. They both knew that a parting of ways would be the best thing at this moment, but we know they’re still completely in love with each other. Now we get the chance to watch them realise just how badly they can’t be without each other, baby or not.
I, for one, am not the slightest bit worried and can’t wait to see how this pans out...whether it takes 2 episodes or 2 seasons! I'm looking forward with positivity for a change. Not much looking forward to the long summer hiatus mind but hey hopefully we'll not be left completely hanging.

Bad craic today though: Just found out that I'm on my own at work the Friday after part2 of the final so my plan to take the day off so I can experience it 'real-time' via the power of the t'interweb is blown. Oh well...
