Welcome to the Multi-Fandom Lyric Wheel. This is a story-challenge
where each participant writes a story from the criteria given by another
participant -- but in this case, what you get given are song lyrics.

Hm. That's eighty-five words a week. If I can't manage that, I suppose I should just quit altogether. So I guess I'm in.
Name: Mistral Amara Email: mistraltoes at livejournal dot com Fandoms I can write: B7, Numb3rs, House M.D., Harry Potter, Labyrinth Fandoms I prefer to read: B7, Numb3rs, House M.D., Harry Potter, Labyrinth, Lost, Buffy, Heroes, Indiana Jones, La Femme Nikita Lyric Set 1: Nirvana, Come As You Are Lyric Set 2: Depeche Mode, The Love Thieves Are you willing to write a backup story? Assuming I'm done with the first one, yes.
I don't think many people do. When I was looking for the lyrics, I ran across a discussion thread with people claiming it's about accepting others. But I, based on the lyrics and delivery, think it's an extremely hostile song about the singer's response to betrayal. But the guy who wrote it killed himself, so I guess we'll never know. :-P
[Depeche Mode, The Love Thieves]
Hmmm, that sort of makes me think of Servalan...
Reminds me of Avon, or more properly Paul Darrow, so I guess that's a pretty close reaction.

Intriguing.
Extraordinary Machine," by Fiona Apple.
Thoughtfully paradoxical in parts...
I think they both have the theme of... nonconforming individuality.

*eyes lyrics* Hmmm. That's kind of true, isn't it? Cool. :-)
(I call "Extraordinary Machine" Vala's song...I know you haven't seen seasons 9 & 10, but it's totally her, or even her & Daniel.)
