Dearest Diary-
I have a houseguest! It is very exciting. I am also pretty nervous. My houseguest is Darda! Who would have thought that Darda would want to come and stay with me in Winterspring? She wanted to rent my cabin, but I was not too sure about that. Where would I go? What would Great Father Winter think if I was renting out my Winter Veil present? We talked a little bit over tea - Darda and I had tea and I am pretty sure she LOVED it! - and then I said maybe she could just stay here with me. She said yes. She really does like me, I think.
Darda has lots of clothes. It is amazing. She came back with a big trunk filled with the prettiest things ever. Scarves and silk and all sorts of wonderful stuff. I only peeked a little after she fell asleep. I set her up with furs to sleep on, and extra ones in case she got cold. She sure sleeps in skimp pretty things.
I made breakfast, but she does not seem to like cake or sweet things. That is a bit strange. She mentioned something about mana crystals, but when I offered to find some she said no, and that she was visiting me to get away from that stuff. I thought magical people used mana all the time. I will have to ask Caeryn or Juni about that.
Darda likes the hot spring bath. I came back from Everlook to find her soaking in it - in the middle of the day! I only go in at night when it is dark. What if someone came by? They might see.
