Hoogmoed's new face

Yesterday I found some time to give Hoogmoed's new head a face-up. Despite thunderstorms and floods in the rest of the country there hasn't been a drop of rain here in a while. (Although today is much cooler so it could have rained last night.)
The good point was: no humidity to mess with the MSC. Bad point: my paint dries so much faster especially because I mix very small quantities.

The eyebrow hairs and eyelashes drive me nuts. Hoogmoed's head makes me wonder if I should experiment with water colour pencils. This is one of those face-ups that upon finishing make me think I'll redo it, but for now the head has a face. So far Hoogmoed has never had a face-up I was happy with, so no surprises there. ;)

The eyes of the new SA Saint head are much narrower than the eyes of the old SA Saint head. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I think it suits him. Still I'm thinking of getting Hoogmoed an open eyed head as well.
The resin match between Dollshe Oriental skin of the head and the Limhwa beige urethane of the body is pretty close in reality, but the head turned out much pinker in the photographs. I fiddled a bit in Photoshop and tried to remove some stray hairs as well, but I'm not to thrilled about the result.
