Last Friday the Reisner head I won at eBay was delivered. Floor was so kind to tell me about the auction and after some thought I decided to use the buy it now option, because the previous Reisner head I found on eBay was sold for $800 and the seller of a Reisner head I found at DoA wanted what she paid for it: $1700 ( Read more... )

He's absolutely gorgeuos. Also one of my few Volks favourites (next to SWD School A and Yuguri).

I feel very lucky and I didn't expect it at all. Now I need to find a new excuse that keeps me from impulse buys. ;)

wow, the inside shot of the head is gross! But otherwise he's a pretty boy.

Thanks. I wasn't prepaired for the eyes being glued in. It's a standard thing that Volks does and the eBay seller said the head had never been used, but there were no pictures of the inside of the head.
I had to soften the glue by heating it before I could get it out and it's gross. There are still bits left...
