She keeps telling me not to get into television. You watch these reality "design" shows on tv all the time and they make things look so easy, when the reality behind it is anything but! The quarks and bumps along the way on tv is nothing to what we really have to go through. The producers know s**t about design which makes it really hard for us designers to do our thing on their tiny budget.
We were running around town today trying to finalize everything and make sure all our suppliers where on top of their stuff. Turns out, we now have no ceiling, no flooring or furniture! yes, i'm giving you all the inside scoop to real television design makeovers. This gives us less than a week to source everything again. *sigh*
I've already started with the drawings and am putting together the sample boards for approval which now means that I have to start over again. As much as I'm stressing out and running about, I'm loving every second of it. I can't wait, my design's going to be on TV!!! hehe
