Caffeine, as with All Things, is best in moderation...

It's been awhile since I've felt this blargh. I've had only one cup of coffee this year so far, but then I had a 16 oz. coffee and a 16 oz. latté tonight; shame on me X_X. Some friends from high school were in town and we went out to The House of Brews (cafe/pub) and I felt like letting myself go perhaps a little too much...I don't plan on going without coffee forever, but right now I'm physically drained and mentally wired. Blargh.

Ne'ertheless, I'm really grateful for being able to spend more time with Katie this weekend. I was earnestly stressing myself over the fact she came up on Thursday afternoon (a weather non-event in Huntsville, but my prayers are with those families down in Enterprise). When she showed up at Cold Stone, I just felt a huge sense of joy / relief. I hate the fact that Sunday will be cut short for us (orchestra rehearsal at First Baptist / Work at Cold Stone), but I look forward for the time we have tomorrow :)

I've been working hard (read: hardly workingLOLOLOL) on an undisclosed manga project for a long time. I've re-written the first chapter at least four times and I'm constantly tweaking this latest version. I tried to get my brother to give some commentary, but he felt that he couldn't do so accurately without something visual to support the script. Basically, I need to scribble out 19 pages worth of dialog / description before spring break; unfortunately, while I pale in comparison to such artistic greats such as Douglas Adams, I too find myself as an unmotivated individual at times X_X. Ne'ertheless, this is something that I have to do; it falls under my handful of life-goals. I've been plotting / developing characters and concepts on two mangas which I must to finish before passing on (read: DIE). Don't get me wrong, I don't delude myself with the idea that these might ever be published; I'm doing this for me.

As such, I won't settle for anything less than superior quality in art / writing (but mostly art); you see so many web comic/manga artists who try to "make it big" with the most pathetic scribblings one could e'er venture having seen! The only exception I can think of is Dr. McNinja: despite being thoroughly (ninja) clichéd and starting out with terribly unfinished art, I honestly can't help but laugh; it's surprisingly funny. Also, like other well-established web-comics, the artwork begins to improve over the course of its duration. Recommended.

The first Konjiki no Gash Bell movie is entertaining; as of now, there is no one seeding the second movie, so seven others and I are stuck at 89% >_<.

One Piece chapter 447: ZOMGWTFBESTCHAPTEREVAR!!!! But enough gushing, Oda wins for being the most-original mangaka of all time; good stuff.

One Piece eps 213, 214: Surprisingly good for filler episodes within an arc of canon material. [K-F] talks bad about 215, 216, but such is customary of any filler material; I've yet to watch them yet though.

Naruto Shippuuden: W007! All-hail the return to canon material! I wonder how this will last though~?

Blargh. At last, I feel the sweetest subtle surrender of soothing sleep sweeping softly, surrounding strongly; soundly and satisfactorily, I submit~~~~
