netflix is the coolest idea. I'm getting my first 14 days free! and then i think i pay 10 or 13 bucks a month after that for however many movies a month i want. so cool! i watched my own private idaho first (gay keanu reeves!! yes!) and brokeback mountain (not enough sex! but i did cry) so far. trainspotting came today. i'm so behind on movies, but i finally won't have to be anymore! i was looking at my movie queue and there's a lot of gay movies. does that make me gay? ah well
joe got me a new kitty! he's a stupid boy cat, but turns out he's freakin adorable and i guess i wouldn't trade him for a girl cat. i gave in and let him be a boy and i bought him a green collar. his name is kif, he he loves to cuddle and he's also tough as shit in a cat fight! kittymeow!!
i was wondering if anyone would like to rent a whole apartment for just one month? we can negotiate a price. we really fuckin fucked up. our lease at the place we're at now isn't up until the end of august, and we thought it was the end of july. so we WERE moving july 22nd, but we got it changed to july 31st, so now in the month of august we have to pay rent for 2 apartments. so like, we're gonna be super poor, so uh, no party because we definitely can't afford that. we also have to finish paying off our security deposit for the new place and pay our first month of rent before we move in. so! yeah, pretty much don't expect to see me till september because i'll be spending zero money until i have all that i need saved up. unless you know someone who wants to rent for one whole month!!
anywho, my mom's birthday was last week or the week before or something, so i'm going to bake her a cake and sit at her house till she shows up... wee!
