I never really use lj anymore, but I feel like it’s time that I addressed something….since I keep hearing bullshit and lies even though I haven’t talked to the person in years.
Basically…any of the crazy stories you’ve heard about me from Kellie are lies. I know a lot of people on my friends list know her, and I like to think that it’s obvious to everyone that her vitriolic allegations and actions are a cry for attention and should just be ignored. I probably shouldn’t even acknowledge this insanity, but her accusations are so slanderous and untrue that I felt like I needed to say something. My life can be kind of exciting sometimes, but nothing nearly as crazy and controversial as what’s been said about me. Sorry to disappoint!
I’m not going to defend each detail because it’s ludicrous.
We are no longer friends, it's life, it happens. I’m not going to go into the details because I don’t really care and no one else should either. Really, what’s the point?
I’ve raised my standards and I choose my friends more wisely these days, that’s all anyone needs to know.
Other [more important] stuff:
• I recently found a bunch of comments from forever ago that I never got. Sorry if I didn’t reply to something, I wasn’t ignoring.
• I mainly use facebook now, but between traveling, work, and other stuff, I’m still bad at keeping up with everything. If you want, add me.
• I’m super excited about the new season of Mad Men!! And Dexter!! But I’m a little bothered that the 4th season of Dexter is coming out before [or around the same time as?] the 4th Dexter book, even though they don’t follow the same storylines.
• I love Ace Perry [pear] Cider! It’s the best! When I die, I want to be pickled in a keg of it.
• I’m still in my supremely awesome amazing loft and I’ve really gotten into experimenting with weird furniture refurbishing and decorating. I want to learn how to sew and reupholster furniture. I’m even considering starting something on the side if I have extra time and motivation, but my first love is still my hair biz. I feel really lucky to be able to do something I love so much. I wish Sonia [sonia5 my mentor] was still alive to see how far I’ve come and see the awesome impact she had on my life. Plus, she was an amazing person and I miss her!
• Is Project Runway ever coming back???
• Is the Arrested Development movie ever going to start filming???
• LCD > plasma?
• Does anyone else think that plastic surgery has gotten way out of control and people are starting to look freakish and too…plastic?
