Glad you had a blast in NYC. (I so miss that place.) I adore that new pic! Sucks about the asthma, mine has gotten worse in recent years too. (My being intelligent and putting down the smokie treats helped. Duh.) My doc put me on Singulair a few months ago. Cut my issues in half. I swear by it. Perhaps you should look into it too?
I am so thrilled for you that business is booming. You deserve it! I must come to you for help on my next trip down.
thanks! and you definitely have to stop by to see the salon :D
my dr has been giving me the advair [i think?] diskus inhaler it doesn't really help much i'll ask her about singulair soooooo so sooo glad you quit smoking!!! :)
I most definitely will. I so need Heather hair again.
For inhalers, my doc has me on Flovent (2x's a day) and Albuterol (for the really bad moments). Singulair's a once a day pill. The asthma therapist that my doc sent me to puts all of her patients on it. It helped a lot.
Thanks! You and the mister share that sentiment. Of course, now I feel like a pyro everytime I find another stash of lighters. Power goes out and I'm all set. ;-)
god....it's like you can never win with meds....but glad you are feeling better have they ever put you on one of the breathing machines? my ex had to use one an hour a day but still smoked at least a pack a day.........uh....makes a lotta sense... too bad you arent local anymore, i could give you some of my hydrocodone syrup to help sleep ;]
Yeah really. If I weren't on them, I could sleep, but then, I'd also be unconcious or dead. Dammit all. I like breathing best I think. A nebulizer? Ugh. That's what I had to do Saturday night. Of course, the worst was having to do that every two hours that week and a half I was in the hospital last year. Yick. Still smoked after needing that an hour a day? WTF? I was thinking I was dumb smoking with mine. Wow. Of course, I also know of a woman who has to carry an oxygen tank around with her and she smokes like a chimney. If I were local, I'd be on your doorstep in seconds, shot glass in hand, begging "Spare a cup of tasty sleepy syrup?" (Mmmmm, hydrocodone.)
heheh...it's really tasty but i get really sick when i take it i took it when i had bronchitis [etc] and i was in heaven....went to bed...got up...still in heaven....took a hot shower....turned to hell i'm thinking it was the heat or something i had to call my client to tell her i'd be late i ended up puking and passing out on my bathroom floor woke up at at about noon and called my client, met her at 1pm, ended up working until midnight it was the most awful i've ever felt and i should not have been working but i'm thinking it might be quite nice when i'm not super sick and not working the next day...i have an almost full 3oz bottle ;]

I am feeling much better. Thank you. Unfortunately, the meds are keeping me awake. Less sleep but at least I can breathe. ;-)
