Life in a nut house

My lilies and snapdragons have started to bloom. The lilies from last year haven't opened yet, but they have more flowers than last year. It will be amazing.
The picture above is one from my front yard. It's all wilted and petals are off now from rain and heat, but that's the life of a lily.
My mantis are doing well, I hope. I've not seen them in a few days, but it's been gross outside.

Yesterday there was a concert in town. Wide Mouth Mason and Big Sugar.
Kortney went with me. We were both going to nap after work, but we didnt. If I know I don't have to work the next day, my body can ignore being tired. Poor Kortney. She's all stressed out, and she couldn't.
It was hot and crowded, duh. I could deal with that. I don't think she could.
The concert started at 10, we stayed for an hour -while WMM played. They went off stage so Big Sugar could come on (Gordie Johnson plays with both).
Kortney and I bailed at that point. Our feet hurt, my body hurt (yay pending period), and there were some obnoxious guys that kept sneaking to the front, leaving, having their buddy go to the front, spilling drinks, fist pumping near my eyeballs, etc. As much as I like Big Sugar, I could see their behaviour getting worse.

I am sad that my camera hates concerts- why didn't I remember that from Bif Naked? It doesn't like to work in hot spaces. So, here's some pictures that I managed to get. It was HIGH energy, so most are blurry.
