"I sit by myself talking to the mooooon.."
It's been a while since I've updated, but things haven't been very exciting. Working and home, with a little bit of walking around.
It was recently Canada Day. I worked 7-3. After work, I walked downtown and introduced Linda and Devin to bubbletea. I chose mint because it was a hot day. As much as I love mint, I am going to stick to the fruity flavours.
While we were walking downtown we heard an accident. An old man rear-ended a fire supervisors SUV. Infront of the SUV was a police cruiser.
No idea of the real cause of the accident, but here is my speculation. It happened right infront of a danceclub/bar. No biggie..except they had their promo truck out with scantilly clad women bouncing around, causing a scene. From there, we wandered down to the market.
At the market, Halya joined us. We just chilled for a bit.
Halya and I walked to the park, and than I walked home. An hour later, Jake and I walked back downtown to meet Halya for dinner - Copper Penny .
On the walk back downtown, we had to pass the bar again. The women were packing up their truck, there was a stealth SUV and 2 police cruisers. I'm guessing the women got in troubs. I had a mushroom burger. It was strange. My mushrooms were whole, breaded and deepfried. It was awkward.
We made our way to Confederation park for the fireworks. We found a clear spot by the garbage can. It seemed like a bad spot- but than when Halya and I got up, it was easy to find our way back. TO THE GARBAGE CAN!
It was my first year using my "new" camera for fireworks. I used their "firework" setting, I dont think they came out to shabby.
I am currently drying out bread to make pineapple bread pudding. Yumyum!
We're going to Cezar's for dinner -inside or out, weather depending.
I think I am going to finish sewing my frog and watching Kermit's Swamp Years on Netflix. Yes..I am that cool!
