So - still feeling pretty crappy, but getting slightly better, I think? At least, I've been sleeping sometimes. Not well, but it's something. And somehow in the middle of all this I found time to go and look at some houses, and actually got one I applied for - hurrah! Well, moving is stressful and I'm still tired all the time, so not so hurrah, but at least I won't be paying an alarmingly high rent any more, and this summer I will have air conditioning! YAY!!!!! It's a nice place too, far from the city, but with much bigger and nicer than anything else I've looked at, and I think it would be good to have a change.
So now I am trying to pack up my stuff, and have a whole lot of things I don't want any more, so I thought i would check if anyone on my f-list is interested, or knows anyone who would be? I guess this is mostly for the Aussies on the list, but if you want to pay postage from overseas, be my guest!
So, first of all I have two dvd players and a video player - my new tv has a dvd player built in, and op-shops don't accept electronic goods mostly, and I feel bad throwing two perfectly good dvd players away. Anyone want one, or know where I could donate them?
Next: stupid expensive contoured pillow that failed to help my neck, that I only slept on once, with a protective pillowcase, which they then wouldn't let me return, because I'd used it. Aargh! Apparently they really help some people, but not me. It's the Denton Caress contoured pillow. This one:
http://dentonsofaustralia.com/products/The-Caress-Contoured-Pillow.html(although I didn't pay quite that much). I suppose I should try selling it on ebay, but I don't know how the hell I'd post it, and I have to time!
Now the clothes, hopefully slightly more interesting:
One genuine Putomayo tie, bought in Japan from the store, and one crappy tie bought from Just Jeans or something, I can't remember. Not really my style any more:
...Sorry, crappy iphone photos. Next we have my Tuk cat shoes - wore these for quite a few years, but they're still in okay condition - a bit worn in places. Size UK 5, US 7, AUS 6.
And last, a rather old lolita top, it's a bit grey rather than black at this stage, but genuine brand! :D About size 10-12 I suppose (AU), but stretchy, so would fit a few sizes.
...So, yeah, mostly a bit old - except the ties, never really wore them - but I thought I'd offer here before op-shopping, as they might be someone here's style! Free, you just have to pay postage if you can't meet me to get them.
Uurgh, so tired, so much packing to do... My Mum told me I should not be afraid to ask others for help with moving. Unfortunately, she was typing that on a ipad, which instead wanted to tell me that I shouldn't be afraid to ask otters for help.
HELP ME OTTERS, YOU ARE MY ONLY HOPE.
...Imagine how adorable a moving company staffed by otters would be, though. Carrying all the boxes around and looking adorable... It would be the greatest moving experience ever. Sadly, i think I'll have to struggle on without the otter's help, but I can dream, right?
