My yoga teacher played this song yesterday in class as we were winding down.  It's jazzy and old-school-sounding, but it's by Alice Russell, an up-and-coming UK soul singer, and I totally love it.  After class, I was compelled to ask my teacher what the song was, and when she told me the artist's name, I repeated it to myself several times.  Later ( Read more... )

How I miss him. I told my therapist yesterday that I felt fine, and that all I would be focused on today would be gratitude for all that I've learned and received from Steven. Back from the yoga retreat, feeling blissfully serene, then saw the news about the Boston bombings. How crazy this world can be. When I visited Boston a couple years ago, I stayed in a hotel on Copley Square, just two blocks from the bombing site. I walked by the location repeatedly while I was there.
