In which the last hour was a disaster...
It clouded over, and began to rain... big fat juicy raindrops, so I ran out, brought all the washing in and then it stopped raining. Now it looks cloudy, and everything is very nearly dry, so it won't be going back out.
Then I made some buttercream for the buns I've made for church. I added too much food colour and it went very runny, so I made it again. And it was still runny. So I used it anyway. Then I thought... maybe if I put it in the fridge it will stiffen up... but the kitchen fridge is pretty full after the supermarket shop this morning, so I'll put them in the cellar fridge... and I dropped 4! On to the icky cellar floor, so they were not salvageable... There are only 5 lemon and 7 rose left now... :( I'd specially baked 9 of each so that there would be some left for me :(
