The last month or so really hasn't been brilliant for us. To top it all off I picked up my new car on Monday and by the time I'd driven it 10 miles, the engine overheated because there was no coolant in it (we think it leaked out or something) So it had to be towed back to the garage and hopefully should be repaired today

Guinea-pigs are quite good at hiding that they're ill, she probably waited until you were out before snuggling down for one last time. It could have been something that had always been there, I once owned a very sick pig for about 3 weeks - I couldn't leave the room without her crying for me and she spent most of her time on a napkin in various parts of the house.

The 30th Jan is the 2yr anniversary of my piggies death, he almost made it to 9yrs :)

We had a cuddle on Sunday night and she was acting just like normal and eating fine. So I'm pretty sure it was a sudden thing, or that at least the symptoms only began to show when we brought her in on Monday.

I like to think she waited like that.. Thank you for your kind thoughts!
