Writer's Block: Happy go lucky
Well I just saw a serious man. a great movie. i believe quite possibly the best one i have seen all year. (yes including 10,000 days of summer, and i say 10,000 because it really felt that long). the quote in the movie rang true.. receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.. or in other words, things just HAPPEN. There really is no sense in always wondering why something happened. Why someone called you, why you lost $100, why your neighbor sent you a mail bomb, why you can't get a date. The really problem is coping skills, and peoples lack thereof.. Why would anyone come up with a reason? Why anyone have to have some kind of biblical explanation for EVERYTHING? Mostly because they have no coping skills. Are some people CURSED? well maybe, if you want to believe that there is some sort of MAGIC out there, and you want to live in a world of make-believe.. There is nothing of the sort going on. There are no REASONS for what happens. They just happen. Sometimes we just need to learn to live with just that.
