I have a bit of an addiction to DVDs. It's something I've been wrestling with a long time, and I usually get my addiction under control by reminding myself that that I don't really need the DVD I want to get--but I'm gonna be sorely tempted on July 21st.

I've said that I found Spider-Man 3 to be disappointing. I said I liked X-Men: The Last Stand better. However, Spider-Man 3 has one thing going for it; it's not Superman Returns.

On Friday night Izzy, Heem, and myself waited in line for over an hour to get in to Spider-Man 3. Thanks to Kate, I have now finally seen Arsenic & Old Lace--a film whose overlooking by me was in desperate need of rectification. I'm sure that anybody who has seen the film doesn't need me to remind them, but it is an absolutely delightful dark screwball comedy. After 23 years of being a blonde, yesterday I decided I needed a change. So last night, Izzy dyed my hair a light brown. I love it, although my beard doesn't exactly match.
